About

Well, I decided to start a blog that captures me – and there are lots of pieces to me so I chose this format to capture them all.   If I had to describe myself I’d say I was a creative soul that loves my family and friend, meeting new people (which generally means new ideas), positive energy, yoga, delicious foods, the odd glass of wine, healthy living, reading, knitting and making the most of every single day!

I am so blessed to have an amazing circle of people in my life who encourage me to be the best of all that I can be.   My good friend Norma Strange and I enjoyed a coffee at the end of 2009 and started talking about bliss – we all want it, don’t we?   BLISS is synonomous with happiness – and for me, right now, it means:

Believing

Learning

Inspiring

Serving

Succeeding

More to come!

Well, I don’t “know everybody”, despite what my friends and family think! I’ve often been called “the connector” as in Malcom Gladwell’s book, The Tipping Point, and I’ve determined that my life purpose is to build community and to help others do the same.

As a successful entrepreneur, I founded the training and development website 24carrotlearning.com to connect adult learners to professional and development opportunities.   In 2008 I fell in love with the products and became an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International

Between Brian and I, we have a blended family with lots of kids and grandkids (who I’m busy knitting for!), I love to travel and experience new things and foods (you’ll see a few restaurant highlights!).   She is currently working on her first (and second) book.   I love to do things on the spur of the moment but also have a real organizing side to me as I do event planning for other companies but also holds retreats and author events as well as other networking events in the city of Victoria, BC.

There is always something new happening!
